Order processing time and cut off times

There is a 24-48 hour processing time for all orders regardless of the chosen delivery method. Rest assured, we are working to get your order shipped out as quickly as possible. Any orders placed after 08:00 on Friday through Sunday will not be picked up by the respective courier service until Monday. If you receive a shipping confirmation between Friday and Sunday, please be aware that your package has been packed but may not have left our storage facility.

If you are unsure on which delivery option to choose during checkout, please get in touch via the Contact Us page prior to placing your order. We will not be held liable for a package that does not arrive within the allotted time due to incorrect shipping information. Once your order has been processed, we will send you a tracking number. You will be able to track your parcel on our respective courier services’ website, www.thecourierguy.co.za. Please be patient, as your tracking information might take a couple of hours to reflect while the courier service updates their tracking system.

Once you have received your tracking number and it appears on The Courier Guy’s website all communication regarding your package will have to be directed to them, as they have ownership of the package until delivery sign off. Should you wish to update or change delivery information, please make the necessary arrangements with them directly on 0861 203 203.

Free Shipping

All orders of R 1500.00 or more qualify for free door-to-door shipping. With free shipping, your order will be delivered within 2-3 business days. Be advised that an additional 1-2 working days are to be added onto transit times in the case of deliveries to regional areas.

National Courier Service

National door-to-door courier services to all major centres and regional areas are set at a fixed rate of R 130.00 for up to 2 kilograms. Thereafter an additional rate of R 40.00 per kilogram applies. Major centres include Pretoria, Johannesburg, Durban, Cape Town, Port Elizabeth, East London, George and Bloemfontein. Other national service destinations will be considered regional. Be advised that an additional 1-2 working days are to be added onto transit times in the case of deliveries to regional areas.

In the event of your parcel requiring a dedicated special trip to deliver the shipment, additional charges may be levied. Examples of special delivery areas include mines, power stations, plots/farms, remote areas, military bases, game lodges, ports, harbours, embassies and consulates.

Payment options

We accept the following payment methods:

Bank deposit (EFT): Should you select this option as your preferred method of payment, our banking details and payment instructions will be supplied to you once the checkout process is complete. Please ensure that the total invoiced amount is deposited into our bank account. No orders will be shipped until the deposited amount has fully cleared in our bank account. Depending on your bank or credit union, cut-off times and when the deposit was made, this could take anything from 12-72 hours. Due to an increase in fraud we do not accept direct/ATM/cheque deposits.

Credit card payments: All credit card transactions on our website are managed by Peach Payments, which enables a simple, seamless and secure shopping experience.

Non-card payments: All non-card transactions on our website are managed by PayFast. This secure online payment infrastructure enables us to accept secure payments from online buyers in a variety of ways. Instant EFTs are bank transfers with SA’s four biggest banks that get instantly verified. No proof of payment is required should you decide to use PayFast as your preferred method of payment for Instant EFTs.

Cancellation of orders due to non payment

All completed orders not paid within 48 hours will be automatically deleted from our system and the stock will be reinstated on our website. Should you wish to request a payment extension, please notify us via the Contact Us page. Please note, however, that we cannot guarantee that the desired stock will still be available as quantities are limited. To avoid disappointment, please pay timeously to secure your purchase.
